RBK-related research mentioned in Senate Health Committee testimony

Today, National Institutes of Health Director, Dr. Francis Collins, testified before the Senate Health Committee about ongoing science and research at NIH, including progress on research on kidney regeneration as a way to mitigate costs in treating chronic kidney disease.

At the 56 minute mark in the link below, Dr. Collins begins his testimony and refers to the Regenerative Medicine Innovation Project (RMIP) supplement to the Oxburgh, Carrol, Cleaver, Kaplan project; microfluidic chips and RBK (ie “kidney on a chip”); and the importance of funding such work:
